My Faith-in-God is Fake or Genuine?

Introduction

Many people receive Christ in order to have eternal life in heaven but they are not willing to give up their old life styles, religious beliefs and traditions. They like to enjoy the benefits of both Heaven and this world.
It is equal to standing on two boats with one leg on each. Neither boat could protect him. He will fall in the middle and get drowned, or he has to cling to one boat that is strong enough to save him. Read more »

Read more »

Who Created the First Man?

Posted in Uncategorized on July 4, 2008 by nedunghat

Someone said, “Marble temples are not made of mud and manure.”
A thoughtful and creative architect uses detailed plans and precious durable materials to build beautiful buildings. Human beings are much more complex and fragile than any building you can think of. Psalm 139:14 in the Christians’ Holy Bible says, “Thank you (God) for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous — how well I know it.” How much more an intelligent and powerful Creator is necessary to create a living and growing man with all his present and future needs in view!
Suppose you were an architect and you want to build a beautiful building. Before you embark on the project, you will have to make sure you have enough money to complete the project, your blue print, all the materials and machinery, the labor, water, electricity and gas connections and many more.
Therefore, before creating Man, adequate preparations should be made taking into account all his basic and extended needs.
So, let us consider what are some basic human needs for survival?

What are some human needs for survival?

He needs a place to live, light to see, air to breath, water to drink, comfortable environment, companionship, food, family, friends, a community etc., ability to communicate with each other in order to lead a happy and peaceful life.
As I read the “Creation Story” recorded in Genesis Chp1 and 2 in the Christian’s “Holy Bible”, I discovered something amazing. It clearly records the preparations that God made before He created the ‘First Man’. It is worth reading. I am sure you will be surprised, too. How did God prepare for the Creation of man with his future needs in view?

How did God prepare for the Creation of the First man?

(Genesis Chapters 1 and 2)
Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Heavens: For Man’s future (eternal) abode
1 Peter 1:4, “And God has reserved for His children the priceless gift of eternal life; it is kept in heaven for you. …”
Earth: For his present (temporary) abode. To prepare men in spirit ready for Heaven. Genesis 2:8, “And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.”
Genesis 1:3, “Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light”.
Light: For man to see and marvel at the great creations of God. Psalms 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hand”.
Day: to work
John 9:4, “As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me”.
Night: for him to rest
John 9:4, “Night is coming, when no one can work”
Genesis 1:4-5, “God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
Space: This provides man with fresh air to breathe and live Genesis 1:6-8, “And God said, ‘Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.’ So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. God called the expanse “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
The Land and the sea: To spread out and build dwelling places for the future generations Genesis 1:9-10, “And God said, ‘Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.’ And it was so. God called the dry ground ‘land,’ and the gathered waters he called ‘seas.’ And God saw that it was good.”
Plants: To sustain the oxygen level and food supply for him and for the future generations Genesis 1:11-12, “Then God said, ‘Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds. And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.”
Genesis 2:8, “Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.” v.15, “The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”
This garden provides the man, the animals and the birds with tasty fruits to enjoy and sustain life.
Sun: To light the day and cause the seasons
Moon and stars: To light the night
Genesis 1:14-19, “And God said, ‘Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years. And let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.’ And it was so”.
“God made two great lights—the greater light (Sun) to govern the day and the lesser light (Moon) to govern the night. He also made the Stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day. And so it was.”
Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” This was to further beautify the environment and provide seasonal supply of crops to make life more pleasant and enjoyable to His creations. And for man to exclaim and proclaim the marvelous handy works of God.
Fish and birds: To sustain the food supply, oxygen and carbon dioxide and other gases, to meet the needs of the expected population explosion of, human beings, animals and plants.
God first created the full-grown Man and woman, the birds and the plants with reproductive organs and seeds in them and the cycle began to reproduce and multiply in every species.
Genesis 1:20-25, “And God said, ‘Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.’ So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day. And God said, ‘let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.’ And it was so. ‘God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. ‘”
As you were reading, you might have noticed the words: God said, “Let there be and it happened”. God created them all by the Words of His Mouth. That shows how powerful are ‘God’s Words’. He can destroy or create anything by the Breath of his mouth.
Now that the preparation stage is completed, God proceeded with the creation of the ‘First Man’.

How did God create the “First Man”?

Only after creating the basic survival needs, including future population increases of all the species, God proceeded to create the ‘First Man’. Isn’t that Amazing! Isn’t God an Intellectual Genius!
Genesis 1:26-27, “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.’”
Genesis 2:7, “…the Lord God formed (the body) the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (His Spirit), and the man became a living being.”
Body: This body is only suitable to live on earth. Genesis 3:19, “… for the dust you are and to the dust you return”.
Spirit: Spirit could live on earth in the body, as well as live eternally in Heaven with God.
1Thessalonians 4:17, “Then we who are still alive and remain on earth will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with Him forever.”
Genesis 2:19, God named the Man “Adam”.
God also creates a Woman, a mate for the Man, Adam.
God created a woman for Adam from Adam to be a mate and to populate the world.
Genesis 2:18, 21-25, 3:20, “The LORD God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.’”
“So the LORD God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man and Adam called her ‘Eve’, because she was the mother of all living.”
That is how the whole human race originated from Adam & Eve.
God instituted the 1st Family Unit on earth
(Genesis 2:18, 24)

  • To multiply and fill the earth and establish new families generation after generation. (Genesis 1:28a; 2:24)
  • To take care of and have “dominion” over every-thing He created. (Genesis 1:28b)

Survival Guaranteed for generation after generation

With all the self-reproducing, life sustaining things created by God in place, the First Man and his descendants could live comfortably generation after generation even to this day and forever.
“The Heavens proclaim His righteousness and all the peoples see His glory” (Psalm 97:6).
Therefore, without any hesitation, we can conclude that the ‘First Man’ was the creation of an Almighty, Omniscient, and caring and loving God.
And there is only One Creator God who created the whole human race in the world. And He loves us all dearly.
He said in John 3:16, “God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
You may be asking,How did all the various races and gods come about?” (Visit that article from the topics list for answer.)
Psalms 8:3-4, “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?” Yet He chose to come down to die in our place to save us from our sins and live in our lives to help us prepare for our permanent residence in Heaven with Him.

Amazing love O what a sacrifice
The Son of God given for me,
My debt He pays and my death He dies,
That I might live that I might live
That I might live!

Do you like to know this loving God personally and allow Him to prepare you for your permanent and eternal Home in heaven that He so thoughtfully prepared for us in advance? If your answer is ‘yes’, here is how you could receive Him into your life.
