My name is Sankaran. I was born in a Hindu family in Kerala, India in 1926. I came to Singapore in 1953. I received Jesus Christ into my life in 1968. Jesus made a powerful impact in my life. Since then I discovered many important truths about the Bible and especially about Jesus Christ and His love, His resurrection from the dead proving Himself to be the Son of God, the Savior of the world. I have also experienced God’s faithfulness through many answers to specific prayers. He is our promise keeping God. I had never experienced this in the past.
Since 1959, I am blessed with a wonderful wife, Sally. We have four children and six grandchildren. We have shared this life-transforming message of Jesus Christ with all our children with the same life changing impact. They have also experienced God’s faithfulness in many ways. As a result our son has also joined a local church as a full time pastor to serve our risen Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ. We have discovered that Jesus is the unique Son of God, the creator of all things visible and invisible. Above all in spite of His greatness, He humbled Himself and came down to this evil world to love us and die in our place for our sins.
I would like you to know that God loves all people everywhere including you, irrespective of our religion, nationality, color or race. And God has a wonderful plan for everyone who trusts and obeys Him. (Jeremiah 29:11, “I know the plans I have for you, ” declares the lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give hope and a future. Then you call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found of you.”)

என் பெயர் சங்கரன் நெடுங்காட்（Sankaran Nedunghat）. தென்னிந்திய மாநிலமான கேரளாவில் 1926-ஆம் வருடம் பிறந்தேன். என்னுடைய உயர் நிலைக்கல்வியையும், பலதுறை கல்வியையும் நான் பூர்த்தி செய்த பிறகு, இரண்டு வருட காலம் சென்னை ஒலிபரப்பு நிலையத்தில், வானொலி மேற்பார்வையாளாராகப் பணி புரிந்தேன். 1953-ஆம் வருடம் நான் சிங்கப்பூருக்கு வருகை மேற்கொண்டபோது, சிங்கப்பூரில் ஏற்கனவே பணிபுரிந்து கொண்டிருந்த என் அண்ணனோடு இணைந்து கொண்டேன்.
1953- 1959 ஆம் வருடங்களில் உலகியல் சார்ந்த பணியில் சேர்ந்தேன்.
1957-ஆம் வருடம் சேலியை சிங்கபூரில் சந்தித்தேன். 1958-ஆம் வருட மத்தியில் சேலி கோலாலம்பூரிலிருந்த போது இயேசுவை தன் சொந்த இரட்சகராக ஏற்றுகொண்ட பொழுது , 1959-ஆம் வருட பிற்பகுயில் நானும் கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு விசுவாசித்தேன். இந்த இரண்டு சம்பவங்களும் வெவ்வேறு சுழலில் நிகழ்ந்த சம்பவங்களாகும்.
அதின் பின்னர், 1959-ஆம் வருடம், சிங்கப்பூரிலுள்ள கல்வாரி பெந்தகேரஸ்தே திருச்சபையில் நாங்களிருவரும் திருமணம் புரிந்துகொண்டோம். 1960-ஆம் வருடம் நான் என்னுடைய சிங்க்ப்பூர் குடியுரிமையைப்பெற்றேன். 1960-1961-ஆம் வருடங்களில், பாண் அமெரிக்கன் விமானநிறுவனத்தில் பணிபுரிந்தேன். 1962-1963-ஆம் வருடங்களில், மலேசியாவின் பெனாங்கு மாநிலத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள பெந்தகோஸ்தே திருமறைக் கல்லூரியில்,ஒரு வருடதிருமறைக் கல்வியை முடித்தேன்.
1964-1969-ஆம் வருடங்களில் உலகியல் சார்ந்த பணியில் சேர்ந்தேன்.
1968-ஆம் வருடம் இரட்சிப்புக்கு அடையாளமாக நேவிகேட்டர் ஊழியத்தின் மூலமாக ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை என் சொந்த இரட்சகராக என் உள்ளதில் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டேன்.
1969-ஆம் வருடம் கேம்பஸ் குருஸேடு என்ற கிறிஸ்துவப்பயிற்சிப் பள்ளியில் சேர்ந்தேன். சேலியும் என் முலமாக இயேசுவை தன் சொந்த இரட்சகராக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு இரட்சிப்பின் உறுதியைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டார்.
1969-ஆம் வருடம், நாங்கள் சிங்கப்பூரில் நிரந்தரமாக தங்குவதற்கு வருகை மேற்கொண்டோம். எங்களுக்கு நான்கு குழ்ந்தைகள் இருக்கிறார்கள். எங்களுடைய எல்லாக் குழ்ந்தைகளும் வெவ்வேறு காலக் கட்டங்களில் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை தங்கள் சொந்த இரட்சகராக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டனர்.
1969-1971-ஆம் வருடங்களில், உலகியல் சார்ந்த பணியில் சேர்ந்தேன்.
1971-ஆம் வருடம் கேம்பஸ் குருஸேடு என்ற நிறுவனத்தில் கிறித்தவப் பயிற்சிப் பள்ளியில் சேர்ந்தேன். இந்த முறை ஆண்டவருக்காக ஊழியம் செய்ய வேண்டுமென்று நான் என்னை அர்ப்பணித்துகொண்டேன்.
1971 அக்டோபர் மாதம், சிங்கப்பூர் கேம்பஸ் குருஸேடில் முழுநேர ஊழியத்தில் நாங்கள் இணைந்து கொண்டோம்.
1974-ஆம் வருடம், மலேசியாவில் பிறந்த என் மனைவி சேலியும், இரண்டு குழந்தைகளும், 1974-ஆம் வருடம் சிங்கப்பூர் குடியுரிமையைப் பெற்றார்கள்.
1985-1986-ஆம் வருடங்களில் பிலிப்பின்ஸ் நாட்டிலுள்ள பாகியோ என்ற இடத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள சர்வ தேசதிருமறைக் கல்லூரியில் முதுகலை (கிறிஸ்துவக் கல்வி) பட்டம் பெற்றேன்.
1989-1999-ஆம் வருடங்களில் சிங்கப்பூரில் அமைந்துள்ள கிழக்காசிய திருமறைக் கழகத்தில் ஊழியம் செய்தேன்.1999-ஆம் வருடம், மேய்ப்பு நிலத்தில், கேம்பஸ் குருஸேடில் முழு நேர ஊழியத்தில் நாங்கள் எங்களை இணைத்துக்கொண்டோம்.
